social studies, and math. The programs require a collaborative partnership
and must align with the student standards mandated by the North
Carolina Standard Course of Study.

In the Arts grant category. Education In The Arts
programs develop understanding and skills in music, dance, theatre
and visual arts. The programs require a collaborative partnership
and must align with the student standards mandated by the North
Carolina Standard Course of Study.

Six (6) grants were funded in the Learning
Events category. Learning Events offer large
audience, multi-class performances that reach a broad segment of
students. The programs require a collaborative partnership and must
align with the student performance standards mandated by the North
Carolina Standard Course of Study.
